Marsh Cudweed | Daisy family |
Gnaphalium uliginosum | Asteraceae (Compositae) |
Marsh Cudweed is a low-growing spreading plant of both damp ground and cultivated land, with very small yellowish-brown flowers and woolly leaves and stems. It was known in Scotland as "Son-afore-the-father", because the younger flowers that spring up later are taller than those that come first.
