Hemp-nettle | Mint/Dead-nettle family |
Galeopsis tetrahit | Labiatae/Lamiaceae |
Hemp-nettle is similar in form to dead-nettles, except that the calyx teeth are spiky.
The flowers are usually pale pink, with yellow and darker pink markings,
but a paler-coloured version can also be found.
It used to be common as an arable weed, but is much less common nowadays with modern agriculture.
