Bush Vetch is a climbing perennial of hedgesrows, scrub and open woods, using the tendrils on the ends of its leaves to scramble up other plants. The flowers are usually bluish-purple, with dark veins, but occasionally can be cream or lilac. The calyx is hairy, with upward-pointing teeth.
