Common Whitebeam is a tree which can grow up to 20 metres tall.
The leaves are green on top, and woolly-white underneath.
It has white flowers in late spring and berries which turn to red in the autumn.
It may be distinguished from Swedish Whitebeam
by the fact that its leaves are not lobed.
