Enchanter's Nightshade | Willowherb family |
Circaea lutetiana | Onagraceae |
Enchanter's Nightshade grows in woods and shady places, and can be a weed in gardens. It spreads prolifically both by underground runners and by seeds. The bristles on the fruits (seen below at the base of the flowers) stick to clothes and fur, aiding seed dispersal.
