Honeysuckle Honeysuckle family
Lonicera periclymenum Caprifoliaceae

Honeysuckle is a clockwise-twining climber, common in hedges, with a sweet scent that is particularly strong in the evening and at night to attract moths. The red berries that appear in autumn are poisonous. The new leaves appear in late winter, forming small crosses on the twining stems.
